A year ago ‘expedition” team on orange SUVs drove throughout Siberia searching for the place for a future city. On August 19, 2010 such place was found on the high Ob riverbank in Tomsk region, Kozhevnichesky district. The first stone was laid, the lighthouse and several yurts were built. Later houses, chums, avenues with benches, square and the Yuri Gagarin monument appeared.
Yesterday, August 17, the Doors Open Day was held in Ruyan-City. It was a unique opportunity to represent oneself and find out details about the company for those, who want to work in “Expedition”.
30 young people from Novosibirsk, Tomsk and Kemerovo gathered around the Yuri Gagarin monument, in the center of Ruyan-City,
Slightly more then one day is left till the Festival “Ob Union” begins. Building of the second bath-house is about to be finished in Ruyan-city now. Chums and yurts for participants are being fixed now. Two semispherical pavilions for big events were constructed and well for artesian water were drilled today.
Owing to the Doors Open Day the opening ceremony of the Festival “Ob Union” has been postponed till tomorrow, August 19. On-line broadcasting from Ruyan-City will be on the web-site http://ruyan-gorod.ru/ during the Festival. It will be possible to see what will be happening at various sites of the Festival.
