ABOUT NEW BUSINESS AND NEW CITIES

On July 18 at the bookstore “Capital” in Novosibirsk Alexander Kravtsov met with readers and journalists. Initially it was planned to be a lecture about “New products creation and upbringing of brands”. But the discussion fell far outside the limits of the announced topic of the conversation.

More than one hundred people came to the meeting. The most interesting for the audience were questions regarding Ruyan-city, which is being built on the Ob river in Siberia now. Alexander told, how the idea appeared in times, when no new cities were built: “It is a rare opportunity in a person’s life – to lay foundation to a city. The idea to found a city occurred to me in 1999, then I clearly imagined chess board, each square of which was a living business-unit. The idea was considered an absurd from the beginning, some people do not believe in it’s creditworthiness even now, but on August 19, 2010 we found the place and the foundation stone has already been laid their by now. Now we are engaged in designing of the city of happiness, where maximum 10 000 people will be able to stay, and about 2000 people live permanently”.

There were questions about business: how to start an own business, how to create successful product, how to build business, which doesn’t occupy all working time, buy gives pleasure… Answers to many questions are already given in the book “Business as an Expedition”. But the audience wanted to get the comments from the author personally.

The meeting lasted more than an hour. It was not enough to answer questions of everybody. But no need to get upset – the tradition will be continued. Coming soon — new lectures and new meetings in the other cities.
