«EXPEDITION” IS 10!
On June 14th brand “Expedition” celebrated the 10th anniversary! A great party and a beauty contest “Miss Expedition” were held in the banquet-complex “Nemchinovka-Park” for this purpose.
An anniversary celebration in a company is in itself a very interesting internal product, expression of values and current frame of mind of employees. Visit a corporate party and you will find out everything about the company. Celebration of the 10th anniversary of “Expedition” appeared to be as usual non-standard and impromptu.
Employees were not forgotten behind long words. Alexander Kravtsov, the president of GC “Ruyan” (“Expedition” is a part of it), nimbly and easily he run up to the stage, stopping excessive pathos of emcees: “About our success for 10 years everybody knows anyway, and I will tell you about people!”. Guests of the party found out a lot of interesting things about participants of beauty and oratory contests, and among them were sellers and bath attenders, cooks and managers from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Saint-Petersburg and Minsk.
The jury of the contest: Vadiam Lobov, Executive director of the University “Synergy”; Oxana Kapustina, owner of Norveg brand – one of the creators of “Expedition” brand; Fedor Shidlovsky, businessman, paleontologist and a founder of famous Moscow museum “Glacial period”, and the chairman of the jury Vadim Uskov, irreplaceable referee of the “Expedition-Trophy” race and the president of
the legal firm “Uskov and partners”, were pleasantly surprised how well prepared were participants of the beauty contest.
The contest itself consisted of three stages. The first – greeting, here the main criteria were how the contestants represent themselves, how they answer questions and behave on the stage.
The second stage — defile in swimsuits and furs. And here ability of the girls to present themselves came to the front. In the third state, creative, contestants presented dances of various nations: from Russia to India, from China to Columbia. The jury appraised the dance itself, a costume and technical merit.
The final stage was a contest of evening dresses.
Following voting results Anna Mahnuk, one of the founder of “1+1” brand became Miss Expedition. She got the main prize – a trip to the Caribbean.
But the other participants (there were 12 people) were not left without prizes. Each girl won in some nomination. Anna Kolpak, who works at the reception of Moscow restaurant “Expedition. Northern cuisine” won the Audience Award. 
As per oratory contest, 6 men took part in it, and Nikita Troshin, cook from Novosibirsk restaurant “Expedition” appeared to be the most silver-tongued and talented, he was awarded with a trip to Kenya.
