CHILDREN’S HOLIDAY PARTY IN “EXPEDITION”
The first in this year children’s holiday party took place in Moscow region, at the place of future picnic-hotel “Expedition” on June 2nd.
Only on May 31st, looking out at cloudy and cool weather, nobody could be sure, that the party would take place. According to weather forecasts, the event should have been cancelled. But it could not be canceled, as so many kids have been waiting for it during the recent weeks.
“And we decided that the party would take place in spite of anything. And it will be held in accordance with the best traditions of “Expedition”. We took with us all tents and blankets available in the warehouse. Asked parents to take cloths and footwear for rainy weather”- tells Elena Birukova, the organizer.
But the bad weather ceased and the sun shone out. Already by 12 noon kids of various ages, from 2 to… 21 years old, started gathering at the meadow, decorated with varicolored balloons. Pirate “Jim”, Little Red Riding Hood and a Ladybird had already been waiting for them. They prepared for kids various interesting games and contests.
Everybody partied down.
Clowns came to see kids. They taught little ones and their parents juggling rings, spinning small plats on forehead, riding monocycle and lots of other things.
There were also creative pastimes. Kids performed their arty-crafty skills and wrote their darling withes and dreams on the word “Expedition” made earlier from carton. Someone asked for a horse, the other for a Royal Poodle, some boy confessed he dreamed to be a military man and to drive a helicopter, and somebody asked for “a bAIcyKle”.
The trampoline, gifted by a married couple Natalia and Dmitry Korol was occupied everyВ minute. Kids and adults constantly jumped and somersaulted on it.
DDmitry also gifted children a real rope swing, which were immediately attached to the tree. Many parents could not help but swinging on them, refreshing memories of their childhood.
Everybody enjoyed the party, even red rabbit Tolik, white poodle Belka and chocolate retriever Marta. They also took part in the events, especially the rabbit Tolik, who could not resist children, and they continually tried to feed him and pull his ears.
The holiday party lasted till the evening. Restaurant “Expedition. Northern cuisine” continuously refreshed kids. Doughnuts, ravioli, backed potato, chicken barbeques – this is just a half of dish names, available on the tables.
