NOTES OF RUYAN-CITY KEEPER
A city keeper lives in Ruyan-city, his name is Dmitry Gulyaev. He guards and secures the city, maintains it and accepts guests. A lot of guests come to the city this spring.
«After participants of “Expedition-Trophy” visited the City, there is no keeping of guests away. Orange SUVs attracted attention of the whole region and even nearest towns. And illuminated from beneath flags, visible from villages at night, displayed outburst of energy on the high hill above the Ob-river.
Naturally, the first who arrived were kids, they came running attracted by stories about fairytale ice house in Ruyan-city. Two boys and two girls of 12 years old walked to the city in snow across floodplain of Urtamka river, climbing the steep slope. One can only envy their admiration. After having seen enough of ice buildings, they enjoyed themselves jumping on trampoline.
Pupils of Urtam’s secondary school arrived by bus. The kids were interested in details of building of the ice house. Wonderingly they examined ice tableware, glasses, ice swan shaped vase. They made photos of themselves on magnificent ice bed and splendid arm-chairs, at big ice table with frosted flowers. They wondered about origin of large inscription “RUYAN”, made by SUVs on the snow behind the cliff.
Kids from Urtam’s children’s home and boarding school had a hiking tour to Ruyan-city. The kids appeared to be very friendly and had good manners. They told with pleasure about their everyday life, about their teachers, friends, and lovely dog, which accompanied them.
Regions’ administrations representatives also visited the City.
Many guests, who visited Ruyan-city during the day return in the evening to enjoy tricks of light on ice blocks of the house, the ship – symbol of the City and inscription “RUYAN” made of two meters blocks of ice.
Over 30 people come to the City daily. Veterans from Urtam village plan to conduct events in Ruyan-city. Representative of educational institutions of Kozhevnikovo town addressed with request to conduct in Ruyan-city on March 22 an outdoor gathering of the “School of secular education”, the best pupils from the regional schools will take part in it (totally about 80 people).
