The Baikal
Our jeeps cross the Baikal. The deeper becomes the lake, the deeper becomes subjects of our talks. We stop in the center of the Baikal, drill holes and drink water with a great pleasure. I see happy faces of people fr om various corners of the world: Russia, Arab Emirates, Taiwan, Belarus, Israel, China and Venezuela. Expedition-Trophy united these normal, alive people into one team. Euphoria of joy and richness prevails during the short rest halt. Atmosphere of the City achieved. Ice cracks from micro earthquakes are surpassed on a high speed. Subtlety of perception increases. After overnight halt in unusual fairytale place we are driving across Buryatia and Irkutsk region. Calling at poznaya (the place, wh ere national Buryat dishes are made), we ask if there house is included into Russian Association of Poznayas…
