The most stormy reaction for Ruyan-City was on the icebreaker Angara. Young entrepreneurs and students jumped fr om their seats and raised their hands with one question: “How to get to Ruyan-City? How to stay and live there?” Our stay in Irkutsk concurred with Zimniada, the Festival of Author’s Song, Maslennitsa and somebody’s wedding. When a newly married couple boarded the icebreaker – everybody, who gamboled on the skating rink on the ice of Angara, gathered together and yelled “Gorko” for a long time. The atmosphere was very joyful. Sun. Bliss. Passionarity sparkles. The main request to young girls-entrepreneurs: ‘Not to go for work to Moscow”. They say they will not.
Icebreaker Angara was restored on public donations. It is extremely significant boat in the history of Siberia. It supported the Trans-Siberian Railway till the Circum Baikal Railway was built. Current hostesses of the museum have portraits of Kolchak hanging near their working desks. They lively tell the story of the Icebreaker, Siberia. Ask for help.
At night we perform at the birthday celebration of “Phoenix” TV channel. Chinese people gathered for celebration at the place, wh ere from the Baikal, like from a bowl Angara river runs out. It is extremely energetic place. 30 thousand Chinese people live in Irkutsk, and the consul of China in Irkutsk sings songs in Russian.
Tomorrow we get up at 5 am and to the starting line of crossing the Baikal.
