RUYAN RESIDENTS
The first residents appeared in Ruyan-City, an honorary citizen and a city administrator – lighthouse keeper.
Last Sunday 8 persons swore allegiance to Ruyan-City and became it’s official residents. 18 persons reside in the City now. To become citizens of the City people must answer two questions: “What do I what to achieve?” and “What am I ready to give to the City?”. It is possible to obtain residence permit from the special council after swearing allegiance to the City.
The first honored citizen appeared in Ruyan-City – German architect Stephan, who permanently lives on Rugen island, in the Baltic sea, and built there various objects, including unusual sculptures-structures from branches.”Expedition” met him, when we searched for the stone on Rugen for future construction of the City in Siberia. Nobody doubted, that the foundation stone could be only from the Rugen island, which is called Ruyan in Old Slavonic. Stephan’s sculptures decorate Ruyan-City now.
One more event is associated with the City administrator. We planned to elect a City Mer from the beginning. But, as the building City differs ideologically from all other settlements of the world, the lighthouse (the first object of Ruyan-City) keeper, was appointed the City administrator. Sergei Ivanovich Panchenko from Zheleznogorsk became the City administrator.
